...Otherwise known as Kaite, has been an aspiring artist for all of her life, starting out with traditional art and moving into digital art. Mainly she works on a Microsoft Surface Pro 7 tablet equipped with Clip Studio Paint.

She lives in North Carolina with her husband and three cats.

She wants to become more well known and fulfill her dream as an animator, concept artist for a major video game industry, or creator of my own show. I'm also a volunteer cat behaviorist.

F.A.Q.

how long does it take to finish a piece?
It depends on the complexity of the artwork - usually, a fully detailed piece can take me 8 hours straight to complete or 2 days spread out. If it is something simple, like a single character, chibi, or basic animation, I will be able to complete it in a few hours.
What other programs are you skilled in?
While I use Clip Studio Paint more often than other programs, (It's basically Photoshop and PaintTool Sai put together), I have basic experience with the whole Adobe Suite, more with Photoshop and Flash.  I have basic knowledge with Adobe Premiere, and learning how to use Adobe After Effects, Autodesk Maya (or similar programs) Aseprite (a pixel art program) and more.
What is your dream job title?
As said above, I want to work for a large video game company as a 2D concept artist, character artist, or- if I can learn it - environment artist. I would love to work with Naughty Dog, Bethesda, Nintendo, or the like and help them create things for their new games. Something secondary would be some sort of assistant director, but I would really like to express my ideas with my artwork.
How long have you been a professional artist?
I started considering myself a professional when I started taking commissions in 2012 (as well as started working on a tablet). However, I've been drawing since I was very young and it has always been my passion.
What are your other hobbies and passtimes?
When I'm not drawing, I play and take care of my cats, play video games of all genres, teach myself different techniques in drawing, cook, clean, create websites (like this one), talk to my brother, and anything to do with the outdoors. But most of the time, I'm probably drawing.
