Alnor, King of Rot

Once walked the divine realm of Vandellor as a trusted occupant who worked closely with the four gods, and even has an eye for Estilil. Now, he is the source of the angry rotting plague that is destroying the beauty of the mortal realm, Amoura. He quietly invented his own sigils and bypassed laws and blessings to corrupt the land his very divine brethren loved so dearly. His more corrupted form is a visual representation on his deep anger and blind fury that he was ignored by the gods, feeling like he deserved better, more attention and to be a god amongst the four.

Creates a new realm called Netheryn, which becomes the new "hell" or realm for cursed, evil souls rejected from Vandellor, that had yet to sort them properly.

Gave himself the title "King of Rot".

Personality:

Before events of the rot -

Quiet, Stoic, Intelligent, Often found refuge in the darker, shaded parts of Vandellor.

After the Events -

Fully corrupted, brooding, merciless, angry, but eerily calm. Threatening aura. Do not know what the next thought of his might be.

Elyndor "Sven" Lynwood

Brother to Alnor. Lynwood was a messenger and knight commander of Vandellor, who worked closely with the Gods of Amoura. He bravely descended to the mortal realm to study the new unnatural plague that won't stop spreading.

Soon after this, he went missing, and all communication was severed. He had succumbed to the rot, amplified ten-fold by Alnor due to his raging jealousy and hatred for Lynwood. He placed a sigil on Sven secretly before his descent, which activated moments after he arrived to Amoura, spreading the curse as well like an explosive spore.

Stripped from his divine memories, he spreads the rot and hunts down Boru and Leanna in an attempt to retrieve her for Alnor's final spell.

Sven was a name he took to blend in with the rest of the folk in Amoura after taking form of an Elf - due to the connection to Valys, the god who created elves. His real name is Elyndor.

Brick Ironshade

Boru's older cousin, the last remaining family member and relative after the destruction of Durnhollow.

A brutal survivor, greedy and domineering. Hides behind the fear of powerlessness. Cruelly charismatic and ruthlessly sadistic in nature. Was not always this way as a child.

Enjoys intimidation and controlling manipulation, very hands-on punishment. Uses these traits to make himself feel powerful.

Takes it out on mostly Boru, who he grew up with and became responsible for after Boru's father passed. Reads his insecurities and has physically hurt him (origin of most of Boru's scars), or forced him on dangerous tasks that would result in those scars. (testing traps, clearing thorn bushes)

When overpowered with the corruption of rot, he becomes a follower of Alnor, and a a merciless, angry brute, especially knowing Boru never 'grew a backbone' and challenged his defiance later in the story. Eventually overpowers Alnor's control, becoming a shell of his former self and only a being of hate. He hunts down Boru through the story.
