Bringing Lavender Skies to life
I have dreamed since I was a child to make an animation of some kind when I grew up. Encouraged by family and friends, they drive me to accomplish this goal.
My plan is to turn Lavender Skies into a small, handcrafted animated series that I build in stages, treating it like a long-term passion project instead of a rushed production.
My longer-term goal is to grow the project steadily while keeping it personal. Eventually, with other artist's help, I want to finish a strong pilot or a short proof-of-concept sequence first, something that shows the tone clearly and proves the world on screen.If it ever grows beyond me, I still want it to feel like the same story at its core: a land shaped by gods, wounded by rot, and held together by two people who shouldn’t have found each other, but did, and refused to let go.
🖌️First Project: Teaser Trailer
First project is a self-funded trailer concept for the story.
It will be a two-minute long animated video summarizing the story and lore without spoilers to gain potential interest for the upcoming comic or pilot.
If the project is successful, it will be placed on Kickstarter or pitched to another indie studio, in hopes to advance further in the dream.
Hired artists are encouraged to use this as a portfolio piece as well and will be credited indefinitely whether it takes off or not.

🖌️Second Project: Dream Duet Sequence
This isn't so much a part of the kickstarter, trailer, or any other commercial use, but a portfolio piece.
This is approximately a 4-minute duet between the main characters that give in to their feelings through a connected dream.
Potentially, it could gather interest, but the goal is to collab with a team who is interested in expanding their work and putting it in their own portfolios.
Additionally, since this is a scene that is canon to the story, it will aid in additional interest for the world and characters.
Have: Storyboard Artist / Composer / Singers
Need: Animators, Background Artist, Visual FX, Project Manager
End goal: to have a visual version of the story in animated form in some way, hopefully have enough audience, sell merch, work with another studio, and expand the potential- all while the participating artists gain traction of their own and can be hired for other related projects out there.
